    them know Irish. Mrs Moore who lives in a cottage about a mile outside the town knows a great number of English stories, and she knows all about the big Wind and Cromwell.
    Near the site of new cottages being erected now in Derrylurgan there are some old houses which at one time was a factory where every sort of trade was carried on, but some of the houses are in ruins.
    At the top of Dublin Street there is a large house called "The Old Convent" it was built in 1879 and was occupied by the Poor Clare Sisters until 1885 In 1885 a man called, Cusack a tailor, bought it and converted it into a sort of a factory. Later on it was let in rooms and now
