- The most common farm animals at home are, cows, calves, horses, pigs, sheep and goats. The cows just get common names such as The Polly
People say when driving the cows in and out to the field "Go on Sucky" and "Thrish."
The cow house is called the byre, the cows are tied by the neck to stakes made of wood and tied by a chain.
The stalkes are home - made.
