- Pat O'Brien was a first prize step dancer. He lived at the Dunancory. He died about twenty three years ago at the age of seventy.
- James Clerkin of Ballaghanea Virginia joined the Dublin police and he threw a stone weight which was two stone thirty three feet. He was thirty eight years when he died and he is seventy years dead. His mark is in the Castleyard in Dublin.
