These men were of gigantic size and the Doctor was quite proud of their appearance and took pleasure in parading them occasionally before his visitors.Now the Brookes family (Rantavan) employed on their farm some men named Bradley. These happened to be the smallest men in the whole district, being almost dwarfs. Their descendants who live in Rantavan still are of very small stature.Dr Sheridan and Mr Brookes were close friends and visited each other at many(continues on next page)
