    There was once a man who lived in this district with his wife.

    There was once a man who lived in this district with his wife. One night they heard a rap at the door. The people were in bed. The man went down and opened the door. He saw a great number of people in the yard. They told him they wanted some milk. He had not much milk, but he gave them all he had. The next morning the crocks were full of milk.
