    Nose Bleeding:- Hold the person's head up in the air and their left arm also.
    Stye:- A fasting [spit?] for nine mornings in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
    Whooping Cough- Put the patient under the hopper of a corn mill.
    Toothache:-Put a pinch of dry mustard into the tooth.
    Wildfire:- Make the Sign of the Cross on it three times with a gold ring in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
    Warts:- Tie a horse's hair tightly around the wart.
    Warts:- Get a plant called chicken-weed. Break the stalk and apply the milk that is in the stalk to the wart.
    Toothache:- Put a pinch of pepper into the tooth.
    Chillblains:- Dip a small cloth in paraffin oil and put it on the chillblains.
    Stye:- Go to St Bridget's in Moybolgue Graveyard. Throw money into it. Then bless yourself with the water out of the well.
    Hiccough:- Give the person with the hiccough a good fright.
