  2. To cure the whooping cough get a piece of Blessed Thistle. Boil it in water for some time and then boil it in milk for some time. This concoction when drank is a splendid cure.

  3. To cure warts get a stone with a hole in it in which there is water. Dip the water in it for ten mornings and on the eleventh morning the wart will be gone.
