  1. Proverbs
A rolling stone gathers no moss
The longer you live the more you know
It's never too late to mend
A stitch in time saves nine
A straight tree may have crooked roots
A glutton lives to eat, a wise man eats to live.
    A lie has no legs
As the fool thinketh so the bell clinketh
As you brew, you must bake
A slow fire makes a sweet malt
An idle man tempts the devil
A full purse makes a light heart
A knave is one knave but a fool is many
A penny saved is a pound gained
    Look before you leap
Marry is haste, repent at leisure
    Sly water run deep
Friends may meet but the hills will never
A borrowed horse has hard hoofs
A new broom sweeps clean but the old one takes the corners
It is a long road that has no turning
