    The houses were more numerous in former days than they are at the present day, as we can see from the number of ruins that are in the fields.
    In the former days the people were not as rich as they are at the present day and (as the o) when an opportunity presented itself they emigrated to foreign lands - principally America They generally borrowed their fare and when they earned it again they paid it back.
