    So called as a big river runs through the field.
    2. Coilín:- Woodfield Ardcarne.
    So named as it is a small wood
    3. Pusta Bán:- Rockingham Ardcarne.
    It is a small waterfall.
    4. The Kill Field:- Cleragh Ardcarne.
    Long ago there was a lime kill in it.
    5. Sruth Caock:- Blackfallow Ardcarne
    So called as it flows under the ground and into Lough Kee.
    6. An Phairc Bhán:- Kilmactranny Highwood
    The field is always covered with clover.
    7. Piull Doimhin:- Kilmactranny Highwood
    A deep well lies in the centre of the field.
    8. Carraigh haven:- Kilmactranny Highwood
    There is a rock sheltered by a wood
