  1. Weather Lore.
    1 When there is a ring around the moon:- bad weather.
    2 When the moon is clouded it foretells rain.
    3 If the sun goes down red in the evening :- good weather.
    4 If the wind is from the North and it changes round to the sun, it foretells showers.
    5 If the sun sets in a cloud it is a sign of rain.
    6 It the stars are twinkling :- frost.
    7 The rainbow in the morning is the shepherds warning and the rainbow in the evening is the shepherds delight.
    8 When the wind is from the North it foretells frost.
    9 When the wind is from the Sought : - rain.
    10 When it is hard to put the dog and the cat out :- it means rain.
    11 If there is wet Friday it foretells a wet Sunday.
