As they came near a big flag and Martin Grey told Tom Leydon that he was to break his leg in the liftiing of the crock of gold Tom said that he would have nothing to do with it, and they turned on their heels and were about to come home when they saw a great light coming up out of the hole and it flashed across the lake and disappeared into Martin Greys bog. It is believed that the gold is buried in Martin Grey's bog.
