    a road contractor and he employed men to help him with the work.
    There are also old Mass paths, and byways, in this district. They are situated in Aughoo, Cryanstown, Cornagreea, and Cartron. There were no bridges at that time, those paths and byways were made. There were no monuments along the road-sides. There were no stories connected with those byways.
