- (continued from previous page)The oat-meal bread was made with oat-meal and water. This was placed in an oven and left beside the fire until it got hard and fit for eating. The people who had cows took milk with this bread. The other people took sounds, this was made from oatmeal and water. After three days the water was skimmed off and drunk by the people.
When ever the people had the good luck to catch fish they took them with potatoes instead of vegetables. The vegetables which the people used to eat were young nettles and water-cress. Those vegetables were boiled the same way(continues on next page)- Collector
