    tradition in their families. Clogs were made locally by those two shoemakers and worn by the people of the district. Some people wear clogs nowadays for the good of their health. Leather was made by the "Bróger". Wool was spun by the women long ago and socks and stockings were knit out of this wool for foot coverings. No special kind of leather was made of sheep-skin or of any sorts of untanned hide.
