Brady's corn-mill, Ballynonty, Thurles, Co. Tipperary was destroyed by fire on St. Stephen's Day 1915. Only the walls remain. The cause of the fire was supposed to be a defective kiln.
Another corn-mill, situated near Mullinahone the property of the same family, was also destroyed by fire shortly afterwards.
The Ballynonty Mill did a very good trade. It was engaged principally in corn-crushing and making oat-meal.
