Good Jumpers.
Daniel Molony of Goleen was a great jumper. Once when going to sports in Knock he jumped a very wide river about ten [30] feet. The reason it is considered a great jump because the land was very wet and he had no run into it.
Swimmers.
Michael Cunnigham of Lackyle was a good swimmer. He and another man Thomas Burke also from the Baltery point [Lackyle] swam to Boland's Rock from the Baltery point and back again a distance of three miles.
Rowers, Michael Davis of Kilkerrin was a great rower. He rowed a boat to limerick by himself a distance of 20 [40] miles
