Poll A Duibh: Because there is a big hole in the field and it is full of water and it is black and deep - Sean a bhaile: It is called that name because there was a lot of houses in it long ago.
Lán Ruad: Because there is red weeds growing in it.
The Lime Kiln: Because there was a lime kiln in it long ago.
The Big Garden: It is called because it is a very big garden.
The bub: Because there are a number of ozer rods growing in it.
The Cabhal mhór: Because it was a very big house.
The Weir field: Is called because there is a weir in the field.
