  1. Long ago the people used to hire a tailor for a week or fortnight and he would make a lot of clothes. They used to spin the wool and weave it and make it into cloth and it was called frieze and it used to wear for a long time and there was other cloth for making bainíns and it was called unbleached cloth
    The tailor that used to come around here was called Brassil and he lived in Corofin and when the tailor would be sewing he would be sitting on the table with his legs curled under him and he would have a lot of old stories to tell
