    Building-houses.
    When a person is going to build a house the night before he puts four sticks one at each corner and puts a piece of wool on top of each and if there is the sign of blood in the wool in the wool he won't build atall.
    It is very unlucky if a hare jumps out of a building.
    If you put a half sovereign under the corner stones in the house you will never be in want of money.
    If you broke a mirror you will have seven years misfortune.
    When a miner is going to work if his bottle breaks he won't go atall.
    When fishermen are going fishing and if they hear anyone whistling the "Maidirín Ruadh" they won't go atall.
