- Where Behan's live now at Caherfenick cross long ago it was a public house and Neylons lived in it. The cross was called Neylons cross that time but now it is called Behans cross.
- Where Keanes live now there was a long house and a landlord named Walsh lived in it. About 100 years ago the mail coach from Kilkee to Miltown used to stop at Keanes house and change horses. Later it used to stop at Marty Mac Inerneys now Kathleen Mac Inerneys in(continues on next page)
