- Cuts. Get a cobweb and put it on the cut and it will stop it from bleeding.
Warts. Hide a piece of fat meat under a stone and do not tell anyone. After a while the warts will go.
Wild fire. Rub Cahill's blood to it.
Ring worm. If both parents of a family are Powers, the childrens' blood is a cure for ring worm.
Foot diseases. There is a well in Mothel, Clonea, Co. Waterford and there is a little stream running out of it. People that have pains in their walk up and down the stream nine times and their feet get cured.
A Burn. Put lard on a heated cabbage leaf and put it on the burn.
Boils. 1) Put a poultice of brown sugar, brown soap and goat's milk on the boil.
2) Another cure for boils is a poultice of bread and milk.
Warts. 1) Rub the sulphur of a match on the warts.
