    and so fell into decay.
    The lands are owned by Jim Duffy at present. The Maxwell were "high up" people and built the Castle. The Maxwells were an old family and were born in Ireland.
    The Maxwells had a lot of parties when living in the Castle.
    There was always a rattle like a cart of stones emptying in the late hours of the morning. The time of the "Uniting" the Maxwells left the Castle and went away either to England or to France.
