  1. The name of my townland is Derrygasson. It is in the Parish of Donagh and in the Barony of Truagh. There are 31 families and the number of people is 22.
    McKennas is the most common name. There are 7 houses of which 2 are thatched and 5 are slated. There is one person over seventy. A few of the old people know English stories, but none of them know Irish. The houses were more numerous in this townland in former times. The land is not hilly.
    There is no woods in this Townland.
