- There is a cure in Donagh graveyard of warts. There are nine pins in a trough and you take out the nine pins and jag each wart nine times and throw them back into the trough again.
The cure the old people had for beelings was fresh butter and turnips
And old cure for diabetes is to swallow a living frog
When a ferret is being fed with milk and give some of the milk to the pataient is another cure for whooping cough.
The cure for the toothache was to put a piece of saltpetre into it.
