  1. There is a giant's grave on Callaghans hill, which is covered with a very large stone and a lone bush growing beside it.
    There is a cave on our rock. The priests said mass in the olden times in this cave. The priests kept the vestments in the cave every night.
    There still remains a lone bush about fifteen perches from Anna fort. There were a lot of horse shoe nails driven into the bush. It was a cure for a toothache.

  2. In the townland of Rebawn overlooking Killann old church is growing a tree very much like a whitethorn but has thorns on it exactly like a gooseberry. It is growing on the outer bark which is of a silver colour. When this is scraped off it
