    the hill.
Sometimes they get a long stick and they nail a lid to it. They push on the stick and the lid turns round. They push the stick on a road or lane. Boys make skittles of wood. They make each skittle about half a foot high. They make four skittles which counts five each. Then they make three throwers which they try to knock the skittles down. They play on till they get a hundred.
