    the slippers. Later on he showed them to a man named James O'Donoghue .He took the slippers.He sent them to the Museum in Dublin and was awarded ten shillings.Those slippers are still to be seen in the Museum.
    On this Island also were unearthed a cane stick of a very ancient design when chips of deal were used as candles.So far these are the only found ,but it is to be hoped that some more digging will take place and perhaps some gold or other treasures of those robbers may be found.
