    Local Monuments.
    Once upon a time a man went up to the grave and stole a tomb-stone and he was going to do it up, but he was passing across a field near the grave and the stone fell.The same stone is to be seen to this day in the field and no one ever goes near it.The field belongs to Jack Roughan,over near the creamery.
    Up near the boy's school there is a stone where St.Mochulla knelt when he was saying his prayers.He prayed so fervently a hole came in the stone and it is said that a person with a sore finger will be cured if he put his finger
