    The well is supposed to have been blessed by St. Bridget and the inhabitants of this district have much faith in it for curing sore eyes. A large tree and a few smaller ones grown over the well. It is the custom for anyone wishing to be cured to bath their eyes in the water and when leaving the well to leave some token after the,. There are many tokens around the wells and there are some very nice, small statues there also.
