    make the wheaten bread with sour milk and then bake it on a griddle .They used to eat meat at Christmas and some of them used eat it every Sunday.The only kind of fish they used to eat was "herring".They used to get it in Ennis. Sometimes they used to fish in the rivers and in the lakes and get other kinds of fish.The people do not remember when tea came first to this district.They had wooden cups called "piggins" before that time.
