There is about seven feet of it over the ground, and there must be a large portion of it underground for it stands there firmly. There is no written history about it. But the old people say that they were used as landmarks in olden times. Other people say that they were put up there to mark the burial places of chieftans, and other Gaelic warriors.Story told by a man named
