    People would not build a house on the track of a forge or on the track of turfstack, it is said also that it would not be right to bring the stones of those old forts or lioses. There is a forge in the village of Aylmore that is still being used, and a man told me that one night as he was passing the road he heard the anvil sounding and the bellows blowing.
