    St. Stephen's Day she was caught in the furze.
    Although she's small her families large.
    Get up young lady and give us a treat.
    But if your treat be little or small.
    It won't agree with the wren-boys at all.
    But if you treat is of the best.
    I hope in Heaven your soul will rest.
    Up with the kettle and down with the pan.
    Give us an answer and we will be gone.
