Dear Mother, ¶ I would be very pleased if you would buy a new suit for me.

    (continued from previous page)
I would like to have my new suit for Easter Sunday. I would go to mass and when mass would be over I would go to the shop and buy sweets and biscuits. Then I would return home and go out fishing for a while or I would go out playing ball in the fields.
    I am
    Your loving son,
    Edward Cleary.
