  2. The robin is a small bird with a red breast. The reason why she has a red breast is because when Our Lord was dying on the cross a robin lit at his feet and a drop of His blood dropped on the robin's breast.
    The robin builds her nest on a moss bank.
    She lays five little white eggs. It takes her a fortnight to hatch the
