Y___ Magistrate, ordered that the man be kept confined for the night in the small Prison on the Market square, and brought before him at the Court held next morning.
As this prisoner was leaving the presence of the Magistrate he was heard to mutter. "Perhaps you won't be at the Court next morning." - Next morning came - it was Saturday Market day in the town of Castlerea. Men and women from the Counties of Roscommon, Galway and Mayo had travelled to Castlerea that morning to transact their business.
