Mr Johny Grunell was a poet. He lived in Roxboro about the year 1859. He died eleven years ago, and this is one of the poems he composed. One Sunday evening in January,
As the snow was gently falling,
For a while of fun, some boys went in,
To a grazing field footballing,
They were meanly routed our, which caused a great alarm,
For they should go and the bullocks stay,
In Liskillen grazing farm.

The boys and girls and men they went,
The leader by a stern speech,
He made then meeting warm,
And cheers were heard for miles around,
