“Once upon a time there was a king who had twelve beautiful daughters.”

The door of he chamber was left open. He soon fell asleep, and when he awoke in the morning he found that all the daughters were dancing. Their shoes were worn, and full of holes. The same thing happened the second and third night. The king ordered his head to be cut off.
