- Once upon a time there was a ship called the Donegal. She was on a voyage from Sydney to Waterford. She was loaded with salt. When she was about half-way across a great storm arose. The crew were heavily weather beaten for about ten months. However they weathered along. The ship held good until the came near the River Suir. The crew had no food for a long time.
