There is a cork in our churn and that is where the butter-milk comes out. When the milk is all out the people rinse the butter and then put salt in it and puts it in prints. Some of the butter is sold. - We have a churn at home it is called a barrel-churn. It is a round barrel standing on four legs. There is a lid on the top of the barrel and a small piece of glass in the centre of the lid. The barrel measures two feet in height and the legs are three and a half feet high.
