    Born and brought up Burnfoot.

    At Christmas the Rhymers come round here. There are nine people in a group. They are Room, Prince George, Oliver Cromwell, Doctor Brown, Jack Straw, Devil Doubt, Big Head, Beelzebub.
    "Room, room my gallant boys give us room to rhyme. Ill show you some activity about the Christmas time. Active young and active age the like was never acted on a stage. If you don't believe me, what I say I'll enter in Prince George and he'll clear the way".
    "Here comes I, Prince George the best prince in all the land. You never saw the like of me before. If you don't believe me what I say I'll enter in Oliver Cromwell and he'll clear the way."
