- There is an old Holy well in Killargue. People go to it every 15th of August and they always bring a bottle of Holly Water from it. Some people leave a hairpin and flowers at the Holy Well. There is a little stream running from it and people wash their feet in it if they are swoolen.
People believe there are lot of cures in it if you go with the right intention.
On St.Brigids Eve the people make crosses out of rushes and sometimes out of wood in honour of St. Brigid.
On Christmas Eve there are red candles lit in the window and they are decorated with holly in honour of the birth of our Lord.
