Such running of side-leaps and boxing of heels.
They went through all maneouvres belonging to dances
With great rigidoons likewise hands across.
The figures, they finished in very great style
With ear, care and carriage attention and time
The tunes that they called for were played as they wished
That is "Jirehenagark" and the "Cakes of Drumlish"
They called for the tune, they call "Scutch through the Heather
The "Humours of Derry" and "loving the Leader"
The "three pans of boxty" and "Boorosadrone"
With the "Bucks of Cloncummer" (?) and "Philip MacKeon"
Besides "sporting Paddy" and sweet "Bobinjones"
"Connaughtmen's Rambles" and the "Holy Stones"
The Hag of the Strand and the Boy in the Boat.
The humours of Glee and the One Horned Goat
They called for Hush Cat and The Kid in the Kale
For Langstrim and Donnell and the Swallow Tail.
For Paddy O'Carrol and for twelve o clock
The Parroway Jockey likewise the Black Sock.
Besides Tip It Off and the Rakes of Kildare
The Barroway Pig and the Fun of the Fair
The Geese in the Bog and the Pig in the Hall
The Cook in the Kitchen and Marry them all
They called for Gregs Pipes and for the Mama's Pet
And for many tunes more that I really forget
So now to conclude without any mistake
Upon my safe song I did not fabricate.
