It is in the parish of Drumcliffe, and the Barony of Carbury. There are eight families in the district. "Scanlan" is the most common family-name. The houses are both thatched and slated and are nearly all one-storey houses having four rooms each. There is nobody over seventy living there now. They do not know Irish.
