    There is an ancient cross situated outside the present graveyard at Kilmactranny and it stands on the top of a rock.
    There is a big cairn of stones on the top of Moytura, it was dug out about sixty years ago by Lady Tennyson.
    There were two separate burial chambers and the contained five skeletons and two broken vases and a spear.
    There is a rock in Highwood called Eglone and it is the larges in the district. King Balor is buried in the field beside this rock.
    It is known as Balor's grave or the grave of the three posts because of its triangular form and the fact that the three posts of huge rock still remain, although the covering stones are no longer there.
    There is a rock beside Ballindoon called Saint Dominic's rock.
