“Henry Talley or the "Little Ex-Soldier" as he is called,...”
Henry Talley or the "Little Ex-Soldier" as he is called, comes around and sells ballads. When he has them sold he goes to some house with which he is very familiar and gets some tea and bread and butter. When he eats he tell the househoulders of his adventures on the road.- The usual king of country house is a thatched roof, and wide chimney. The kitchen floor is large and it has a large fire place.
