    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    The bread long ago was different to the bread nowadays. They used to make rye and oaten bread.
    They used always grind the flour at home with "querns". The querns were made of two big stones one on top of the other and the grain used to be put in between and crushed.
    The querns are not used now. The people cary their grain to the mill to be crushed.
    They used to make bread on certain days such as stampy for the cleinsuir. It was made of grated potatoes and flour and baked in a griddle.
