The end was - that they got up, and remained up until word came to them that Mickey was drowned. It is often when a person dies that he is seen in some other place - the person seeing him not knowing that he is dead. The day my father - God be with him - died (in Co. When my husband was questioned, he met no stranger at all that day; and the description given of the stranger would describe my father as to height, etc. The bad news (of his death) came soon after.
