   There was a man coming home from Ballyfoyle one night. He came for a short cut through Kilfarney. He came allright until he came to the top of the hill. The hill was very steep and he didn't think he was so near the brow. When he leaped off the ditch he had to keep going. The more he was going down the harder he had to go. In the middle of the hill he met a horse and he tumbled over him. He wasn't recovered until he met a cow and tumbled over her again. He tumbled over two cows more before he reached the bottom When he recovered at the bottom he looked up and gave it its blessing and said "I wont make a short cut through Kilfarney
